Amor vincit omnia

We have danced on the heads of stars
In the beginning of days,
And we laid restless under the weight of mountains,
Waiting to erupt forth in the World’s First Orgasm.

We were young then,
Careless and wanton in our great Love,
For we knew well of destruction,
Death and deliverance,
But we loved voraciously
Enough that it mattered not.

Pulling and pushing,
Striving upwards, downwards, and outwards,
Our Love was rent;
And Beauty came to walk upon the earth
In graceful steps, with silent call,
Tearing down the mountains
And unlocking gates once barred,
Singing into life a new Love.
She hastens:
Borne on the tide of All, rushing towards Eternity.
